Learning to play a musical instrument

Many of our older children are taught to play stringed, brass, woodwind and/or percussion instruments by teachers from Kent Music . These lessons are a matter of choice for parents and a standard fee is charged in Local Authority schools. Further details are available from the school office or from Mrs. Jones, our Specialist Music Teacher. Pupils in Year 5 are also taught to play the fife and all instruments are purchased for the children by the school.
