Year Two

This term Year 2's IPC topic has been 'Dressing Up'. We have been learning about the clothing worn in different countries, different times in history and for different types of work. In our science sessions we have been looking at materials and why different materials are used for different purposes. Last week we went on a visit to Tonbridge Fire Station to learn about the materials used in a fireman's uniform. We were really excited as we all had the opportunity to spray water from a fireman's hose! We tried on the uniform and even got a chance to sit in a fire engine. Everyone had a great time!
